Busy time for all of us!  This is just a brief review of what we have done, what we’re working on, and the future.

The new Vista Grande High School is located on the southeast corner of Arizola Rd. and Cottonwood  Ln.

  • The ground breaking will take place on October 9th at 4:00pm.

  • Construction plans are scheduled to be submitted in September

  • Completion will be for the fall semester 2009.

  • It will be a four year comprehensive high school

 

  Remodeling Projects – Casa Grande Union High School

Current projects

  • All of the exterior doors were replaced during the summer.

  • Upgrading the lighting in the commons area for safety

  • Upgrading the football field lights

  • Adding tennis court lights

Next on the list

  • Expanding the art patio area and enclosing it to create up to 7500 more sq.ft. or four more classrooms and large meeting area [Click here for concept drawing]

  • Adding additional space to the DECA store

  • Adding Additional space for the bookstore

  • Expanding space for the band program

 

Transportation Facility – Location the acreage between the Union campus and Rancho Grande off Trekell Rd.  [Click here for concept drawing]

  • Plans are to be submitted to the City for approval in October

  • The facility will include a expanded warehouse and district print shop area

  • Completion is scheduled by June, 2008
